"The primary purpose of this communication app is to inform you of changes, delays and other incidents that have an effect on your daily life. Secondary is the ordinary information.
What is so special about this app is that you will not get spammed with irrelevant information, because it is you, as the end user, who chooses what kind of information you receive.
This app gives the end users full control of the information coming into the app. By focusing on the users own preferences, the information is getting filtered, leaving behind only the requested information.
The filtering system is based on:
• Geography
• Changes, delays and accidents
• Information providers
• Prioritization
In addition to the filtering functionalities, users can create profiles, which are based on days and time frames. These profiles will control when information will be getting through. A user could f.x. make profiles called “Weekend” or “Workdays” and set them to provide relevant information at specific times of the day.
The relevant information will be received as a notification and can be accessed later on a sortable list as well as on a map. Marks on the map will represent the information accordingly. If you want further information, a link will redirect you to the relevant web site.
If a disaster occurs, the app can bypass all filters. A red mark a map will indicate where the incident takes place. Ordinary events like an opening ceremony would be marked with a green mark on the map.
Users will also be able to search for upcoming and previous events.
